Abigale Lee
Miller (born on the 21st of September, 1965), is a famous American
choreographer as well as a dance instructor and reality TV star. Abby Lee Dance
Company was created by her. It was a part of eight seasons of the show Dance
Moms. Miller admitted guilt on June 27th, 2016 to criminal bankruptcy fraud.
Miller was sentenced for one and one-half years in federal prison. She was
released on the 27th of March 2018. The diagnosis of lymphoma was made in April
of 2018. It is a form of cancer that makes her in a position to not walk. To
move around she uses a wheelchair. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.
She was a dancer , and was a student under her mother at the Maryen Lorrain
Dance Studio. Miller was 14 when she was given the choreography and coaching
for one of her mother's dance competition teams. Miller assumed control of the
studio , and it was renamed Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was
accredited by Dance Masters of America in 1986, and became an associate part of
Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 in February 2012. But Miller's
membership was revoked by the DMA in February 2012 following the DMA declared
that Miller's reality TV show Dance Moms was "a complete false
representation of teachers and students of dance and is harmful to the
profession of dance."
